 reports, 1d 12h agoDaily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 22h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. Critiques
I'll start for the obvious, as much as I would love to see the flower with more sharpness and less blur I must say that the way some parts of the picture are out of focus adds a lot of charm to the shot, it calls the attention to the center of it and allow us to enjoy it better.
Now, what I don't like about this is the background, I don't know if it is too dark or the angle is just wrong, but somehow it looks as if it were about to swallow the whole picture.
I know that this kind of shots can be particularly tricky, so my advice is to keep practicing.
